Origin

We started SMB Tech because the work that actually moves a company forward rarely survives the standard agency model. Too many handoffs. Too many juniors. Too few opinions.
We work with a handful of companies as their fractional CTO and senior engineering bench. Small on purpose. Senior on purpose. Expensive because we ship, and fast because we've been here before.

No junior layer. No offshoring. Every decision, every line of code, and every kickoff call is the work of someone who has shipped at scale. We charge what that costs.

We spend the first two weeks inside the operation, not the codebase. By the time we open an editor, half the original scope is usually gone — and what’s left is what actually matters.
